About

The movement is focused on education about the reality of how it is to be Queer in the environment of a South African township. School presentations, (this) film screenings, and inspirational posters from the Queer community aim to open everybody’s eyes to work towards a safer place for the community. Soon, we will start the preparations for a safe Pride celebration in March 2024, during South African Pride month.

Fundi
“This movement is a strong highlight that we are here and here to stay. Where we’re from, things are either black or white – but we need to acknowledge and respect that there are plenty of colors in the world. Trying to not pass judgment, this is our voice directed to our mothers, fathers, siblings, friends, and community members. We do not need judgment. We need a world where we can all exist without discriminating against one another”.
